Qualcomm has got some good news for photographers when introducing its new chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor. This new chip already enhances the photos and videos in real-time with semantic segmentation.
Chris Patrick, senior vice president and general manager of mobile handsets at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc, stated that “We are passionate about enabling people to do more, so we design Snapdragon with the user at the center.” The company also states that the new chipset enables groundbreaking AI experiences, which include multi-language translation and faster natural language processing.
Qualcomm has announced that Sony Semiconductor Solutions has developed quad digital overlap HDR technology- which is modified for Snapdragon. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, will revolutionize the landscape of flagship smartphones in 2023. Another great feature is that it is turned to support new image sensors.
