Dodge - an American brand of automobiles will maneuver the throwback logo called the “Fratzog” for its advancing electrified vehicles.
Fratzog is a made-up phrase by a designer which was initially utilized by Dodge from 1962 to 1976. It will feature with a split deltoid made of three arrowhead shapes that form a three-pointed star. The new style is designed to be three-dimensional with LED lightning.
“It damn near looks like something that Doc Brown would have done. It looks very futuristic and electrified, and it’s our history, which is what we do” - CEO Tim Kuniskis said.
The resurrected logo was first proved final on a Dodge automobile concept that was previewed by its Stellantis mother or father company throughout an “EV Day” for investors. Dodge also used the logo alongside its present red-striped one on the “Roadkill Night powered by Dodge” drag racing event, which yearly attracts tens of 1000’s of people in Pontiac, Michigan.
Dodge has positioned itself as a muscle automobile brand and is expected to draw up its electrification plans in the 4th quarter ahead of launching a plug-in hybrid model in 2022 and an all-electric muscle automobile in 2024. The concept of the Fratzog logo is predicted to be unveiled early next year, Kuniskis said.
“We don’t want them to look radically different because we want you all to be part of the same thing,”. So, we said, ‘OK,’ if you have electrification in your car, we don’t want you to be screaming, ’I have electrification” - Kuniskis stated referring to Dodge’s so-called “Brotherhood of Muscle”.
