Airbnb has launched a new “work-from-anywhere” policy that will allow employees to work from anywhere in the world for the rest of their lives. In a series of tweets on Friday, Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky announced, “You can relocate anywhere in the country, from San Francisco to Nashville, and your pay will stay the same.”
After “100,000 Airbnb guests booked stays of three months or longer,” Mr Chesky said in January that he’ll be staying in a different town or city every two weeks. Mr Chesky stated that the company converted to the new strategy because the globe was becoming more flexible and that the company would not have recovered from the epidemic if millions of individuals working from Airbnbs had not been available.
