Dairy Queen is expanding its burger chain to give rise to its biggest menu expansion in nearly 2 decades. The new burger flavors go as follows: Flamethrower, Loaded A1, Bacon Two Cheese Deluxe, Two Cheese Deluxe and the Original Cheeseburger.
Queen CEO Troy Bader said in an interview, “I would say it’s one of the first true menu strategies that we’ve had within the Dairy Queen system in a very, very long time.” Dairy Queen’s main food offerings are sweet treat offerings. But it strives to expand the burger niche with the introduction of the new line.
“We were proud of our burgers, but we knew that we could do better with them,” Bader said as he prepares to position Dairy Queena as a specialized burger deliverable.
