OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has announced the launch party of upcoming 10T phone in an in-person event in New York City. The 10T will have Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset which is, as is the tradition, is a level above in performance than regular Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in the OnePlus 10 Pro. The company is also going to launch OxygenOS 13 in both 10 Pro and 10T later this year.
The ‘Plus’ version of 8 Gen 1 chipset offers a faster performance and better battery efficiency. Its also intended for gaming based mobile devices with its pull-out-all-steps kind of processor. There are rumors of 10T being more performance oriented with 150W charging, departure of the physical alert slider, and overhauling of the camera system. But whether these rumors are true or not will only be verified on launch event of 10T that starts on 10AM ET on 3rd August.
