Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey expressed concern over escalating inflation in the U.S. He expressed that things are going to get considerably worse in the coming time.
Dorsey tweeted, “Hyperinflation is going to change everything. It’s happening.”
The tweet comes with CPI inflation running almost a 30-year peak in the U.S. and with a growing concern that the problem may get worse than what policymakers have anticipated.
Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell expressed that inflation pressures will last longer than previously anticipated.
The central bank leader said that he anticipates that the Federal Reserve will soon begin pulling back on the extraordinary measures it has taken for helping the economy.
Responding to user comments, Dorsey said that he sees that the inflation problem escalating around the world.
“It will happen in the US soon, and so the world,” Dorsey tweeted.
Dorsey is currently CEO of both the Square and Twitter.
