As the number of workers working from their offices’ increases, tensions appear to be rising between vaccinated and unvaccinated employees.
Many companies in the USA have taken a strict approach toward the vaccination status of their employees and made it compulsory for their employees to be fully vaccinated for working from the office.
Seyfarth at Work conducted surveys of employees in late August and found an increasing number of workplace conflicts over the issue of vaccination status. It reported that approximately 37% of surveyed companies at Work stated that vaccinated people were frustrated and angry at the possible transmission risk from unvaccinated employees.
Meanwhile, it reported that the unvaccinated employees are complaining about their treatment at the workplace. 21% of the surveyed companies reported that unvaccinated people face harsh judgment by others, and they are discriminated against as better opportunities are provided only for vaccinated officemates. Some people also expressed resentment over the burdens of regular testing requirements.
