Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) invites its newest Melbourne-born, Royal Stacks, to the menu. The partnership took place ahead of the 2022 AFL Premiership Season with the cult-favourite burger brand signing an exclusive deal for two years at the MCG.
This is a dream come true for Dani Zeini, Founder of Royal Stacks, who opened his first venue on Collins Street in 2016. He took on the challenge to stand out within Melbourne’s vibrant hospitality scene, to bring a powerful and uniting force to people from all walks of life together.
Dani and his team are excited to be serving only fresh ingredients daily at the Ground, confirming that no produce will be kept frozen. Fans can enjoy paying the prices matched with the other Royal Stacks outlets, an offer extending throughout the course of the season for the delicious menu items. Discounted menu items can be expected too.
Royal Stacks will honour Melbourne by keeping the crowds of up to 100,000 cricket fans, happy with its quality and fresh menu items. The burgers are freshly minced daily from pasture-fed, 100% Australian, GMO-free beef, and the menu offers vegetarian and Halal options. Their food offerings will be available for both non-event and match days.

The design of the Royal Stacks MCG outlets reflects the brand’s personality, with a 90s flare, vivid colours and upbeat music culture.
Royal Stacks currently operates with six restaurants across Melbourne including Collins Street, Chadstone, Brunswick, Moorabbin, Melbourne Emporium and now at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The brand recently launched its franchise model for interested franchisees who would like to join the innovative and energetic brand, with business opportunities listed at $350,000 around Victoria.
“When we opened our first store on Collins Street in 2016, we took on a challenge to stand out within Melbourne’s vibrant hospitality industry. We were the small fish in a big pond.
A lot has happened in the years since. Multiple new stores, one-of-a-kind pop-up events, a food truck and an expansion into the Chinese market”, said Dani, “and we’re proud of our greatest hits, but still feel like we’re just getting started”.
